Laura is a scientist at Acacia. She completed her doctorate at the University of Toronto, where she and a team of researchers at Toronto Western Hospital examined non-invasive forms of brain stimulation for treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders.

She is passionate about combining technology with compassionate and effective care, which led her to the digital mental health space following her graduate work. Understanding ways in which we can better meet people where they are, through offering accessible and personalized treatments, is a core motivation of Laura's.

Now a part of the team at Acacia, Laura is grateful for the opportunity to research evidence-based treatments that are not only rooted in science but also offer a holistic approach to mental well-being.
