Monica is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She graduated magna cum laude from University of California, San Francisco’s school of nursing and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, private practice, and the VA. She strongly believes that mental health care should be transparent, holistic, and humane, and is thrilled to be a part of the Acacia team.

Prior to entering psychiatry, Monica received her BS in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University and worked a variety of jobs from operations manager to behavioral clinician for children with autism to line cook.
