David is a Biomedical Engineer by trade and has worked in Medical Device and Pharmaceutical companies for over 16 years including: Baxter, Fenwal, Fresenius Kabi, Ameda, and Pfizer, He has had roles as an engineer, project manager and engineering management. He has a passion for innovation and the arts, merging engineering with creativity. David is passionate about brand building and especially excited to bringing this to mental healthcare broadly. David is interested in telling beautiful and inspiring stories about mental health and building company culture that allows our staff to flourish. 

David also is the owner of David Ling Photography where he specializes in photojournalism for weddings, families, and portraits.

Prior to Engineering and Photography, David received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. David runs the Marketing and Innovation at Acacia.
