David is a financial executive with over 30 years of experience working primarily with small and mid-sized businesses. Since 2002 he has been the co-founder and CEO of BlackWood Finance & Accounting, Inc.; BlackWood provides outsourced finance and accounting services to a wide variety of small and mid-sized businesses. Prior to founding BlackWood he served as VP of Finance/Strategic Financial Planning at YOUcentric and was senior financial analyst for the venture capital firm, Pheonix Associates, based in New York. ​Mr. Vergoz holds an MBA in finance from New York University.
